Singapore Start-up Forum
One of Singapore’s only entrepreneurship and business forum. This was created by my in 2009 just after graduating from Singapore Polytechnic. I came up with it to find business partners and mentors for myself and other budding entrepreneurs. It served the entrepreneurship community well, till technical faults and spammers made it hard to continue. I have closed it to make way for SGpreneur.com, a similar business forum.

My Second project with my business partner Qi Feng, and an overseas partner. The idea was to sell a ‘script’ which is bascially a prepackaged mini-website. This script in particular created a website where members of the site could post discount coupon codes that they knew about. The website’s success was fast overwhelming. The pre-orders for the coupon script came in quickly, even before the site was up proper. An offer to buy the whole site and rights to the product came not long after the site was launched. We gladly accepted this offer. The whole experience showed me that it is possible to achieve success in business very early on in the business life cycle.

One of my smaller projects on my own. This site’s main function was to generate a code that people could use to download files at MegaUpload.com. The programming for the code generator was done by me though coding is not my strong point. Naturally, the website’s main revenue stream was to be advertising. This website remains largely unsuccessful in terms of profits. However, it did generate a small sized following of people who use it’s services.
